Offering quality, childcare options for working parents, Abigail’s Children’s Day Nursery, Caerphilly, is an exciting childcare environment that has been designed and developed around the needs of children, offering a bright, spacious and secure ‘home from home’. We are committed to provide a secure, stimulating and caring environment for children from the age of 6 weeks. Our ethos is clear.

We aim to provide the same quality of care for your children that we would want for our own. Abigail Harris is the director in charge. Abigail gained a Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2004 and is a qualified Nursery Nurse. The nursery is managed by Natalie Williams. Natalie has worked in the Childcare profession for 15 years and is Level 5 qualified.

All our dedicated team are fully qualified and undergo enhanced DBS checks and all are trained in Pediatric first aid, child protection, health & safety and food hygiene. We are committed to continuous professional childcare development for all our staff. All of our Nursery Nurses are Level 3 qualified and most are working towards their Level 5 with training and support provided by our nursery manager.

Abigail’s, Caerphilly, has the benefit of safe, secure outdoor space with both grassed and artificial “soft” play areas as well as a hard play area for playing with wheeled toys etc. Children are encouraged to spend time in the gardens at every opportunity, where they can make full use of the lawns and gardens, with a variety of age-appropriate equipment, and with stimulating features and sensory play areas.

Designed with children in mind, our bright, spacious playrooms complete with quality equipment, offer a pleasant environment for your children to develop and learn through play. It is important that parents know their children are safe in our care, so Abigail’s Day Nursery features secure access to the house and gardens. All our policies and practices have been devised to put the child and their parents at the centre of our setting.
