Clearly, the quality, and dedication, of our nursery staff is important to us in order to ensure a high standard and a continuity of care for our children. Stability of the environment at Abigail's helps to foster a feeling of security in your child and is important for their sense of wellbeing.

Most of our team are qualified to the highest Level 5 and undergo enhanced DBS checks. We facilitate the training of all Nursery Nurses up to Level 5, with additional training and support provided by our nursery manager.

All Staff are trained in Safeguarding, Pediatric First Aid, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.

We have successfully been awarded Millie’s Mark, a Quality Mark for nurseries where all employees working directly with children are trained in paediatric first aid. This has been awarded by National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) in association with Department for Education and Millie’s Trust. 

Our dedicated cook ensures healthy and tasty food of a consistent quality every day and is able to fully cater for special dietary requirements, such as vegan, dairy-free, etc.

Our full-time Housekeeper works hard to keep the nursery clean and germ-free. 

Safety:

To ensure the continued safety of our children and staff, Risk Assessments are carried out regularly.

To help ensure the safety of our children whilst being carried to and from school, our drivers are trained by IAMRoadsmart to the highest level Advanced Driving Certificate.
